We are excited to announce that yesterday, June 14, we had our first official audition and read-thru of the Blue Mountain Motel Pilot script with several hopeful actors.

The meeting was held at The Abbey in Lawrenceville, PA and was facilitated by Nathan King and Seth Smiley, co-directors and producers of The Blue Mountain Motel.

Smiley and King were thrilled with the actor dynamics during the reading.

"The actors auditioning had great energy and enthusiasm", said Smiley.  "We appreciate their participation immensely and thank them for taking time out of their day to meet with us."

This weekend, the directors will be visiting one of the filming locations to coordinate shots and lighting.  Stay tuned.

The production team was on set bright and early this morning at one of the filming locations, The Titlow Tavern in Uniontown, PA.

"With principal photography anticipated to begin within the next month, it was really important for us to get on site and look at what we're going to be working with", said Smiley.

"Making sure our lighting situation is as perfect as possible is absolutely critical to production", King went on to say.  "There are so many nooks and crannies in this beautiful establishment, we want to make sure we are capturing the sights and ambience of this location so as not to compromise the beauty and history that it offers.  Its a spectacular place to film."

The K&S Productions team of King and Smiley are very happy to be able to film this entire project locally, in their home town of Uniontown.

"The owners of the properties at which we're going to be shooting have been so hospitable and accommodating", Smiley says.  "Elaine Ringer of the Motel along with Jeff DiMaio and his daughter Savannah here at the Titlow have been incredibly helpful.  Absolutely wonderful."

"And the best way we can thank them for their graciousness is to make them proud of how beautiful their properties truly are once they see them on the big screen.  And we're going to do just that", King assured.
